This catalog contains plates of paintings by abstract painter, Laura Hohlwein. Additionally, it contains an essay exploring her life and major themes in her work. Hohlwein received her M.F.A in New Media from Transart Institute, Austria 2007, her M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Vermont College 1989, and her B.A. from California State University, Sacramento 1986.
This book includes an introduction by John Natsoulas, an essay by Joan DePaoli, chronology by Pam A. Nelson and photography by Mike Trask. The book is accompanied by 59 color plates of the artist’s work.
